Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau grew up in Clovis, California, and studied physics at SMU, where in 2015 he won the NCAA individual title and the U.S. Amateur in the same summer. He turned professional after the 2016 Masters and became known as golf's scientist for single-length irons, oversized grips and a highly analytical approach to every part of the game.

After early PGA Tour wins he added dramatic muscle and speed, becoming the tour's longest driver in 2020 and overpowering Winged Foot to win that year's U.S. Open. He joined LIV Golf in 2022, where he plays for Crushers GC, and has built a large YouTube audience with challenge videos and his Break 50 series.

DeChambeau won a second U.S. Open at Pinehurst in 2024 with a famous bunker shot to save par on the final hole. He was runner-up at the 2025 PGA Championship and, in 2026, won LIV events in Singapore and South Africa in back-to-back weeks, both in playoffs, the second over Jon Rahm. He has five LIV titles in all.
