Top 10s
Jake Knapp is from Costa Mesa, California, where he played at Estancia High School and qualified for the 2015 U.S. Open as an amateur. He turned pro in 2016 and spent years grinding on PGA Tour Canada, winning three times there, with stints on the Korn Ferry Tour in between. After losing his status he worked as a nightclub bouncer before earning his PGA Tour card in 2023.
Knapp won the 2024 Mexico Open in his rookie season despite hitting only two fairways in the final round, and he shot 59 at the 2025 Cognizant Classic. Long off the tee, he posted a career-best six top-10s in 2026, including 11th at the Masters, while playing through thumb surgery.
